Our Mission

When I decided to create my own unique line of hair and scalp care products in 2011, I had only one goal in mind:

"To give back to the women who supported me and allowed me to live from my passion — hairdressing."

After writing the book Pas de quoi s'arracher les cheveux, a practical guide for women with little time or money to spend on their hair, it felt only natural to continue down that path by helping people with practical, affordable products—each designed with a specific function to solve a specific problem. Whether it's keeping your colour vibrant, dealing with static, scalp perspiration, cowlicks, dandruff, or volume issues, my Luc Vincent product line offers solutions to quickly and easily achieve at home what could cost you hundreds of dollars a year at the salon.

To make this happen, I partnered with Quebec-based chemists to develop high-quality products that meet Health Canada standards—fragrance-free, not tested on animals, and entirely made in Quebec. That's something I'm very proud of.

Together with my team, we continue to tirelessly research and test so we can always bring you exciting, exclusive new products that meet your specific needs—without breaking the bank and without… tearing your hair out.

Respect for the Environment

At Luc Vincent Haircare, we are aware of the environmental impact associated with our product packaging, the ingredients we use, and transportation.

We minimize our ecological footprint with our new recyclable container (level 2), which is half as thin as those of our competitors.

We use only the active ingredients necessary to achieve the desired results from our products.

Did you know that most of our competitors add dozens of unnecessary ingredients solely to outsmart the competition and prevent their formulas from being copied? At no point is the ecological and environmental impact of this practice taken into consideration.

As a result, you may find that our shampoos lather slightly less. However, they are just as cleansing, using minimal sulfate or none at all for certain products. Our shampoos are gentle on your hair, your skin, and the environment.

Local Products

Buying Luc Vincent products 100% made right here in Quebec helps reduce your ecological footprint. Here's one example: transportation, particularly by air or sea, accounts for a significant portion of total GHG emissions generated by major haircare and beauty product manufacturers.

With that in mind, we limit our GHG emissions by offering local products made in Quebec and by using a delivery service that is less polluting than most popular mainstream products, which are largely manufactured in Singapore, Europe, and the United States.

In addition to pursuing our mission for our local customers, we also reduce our emissions by, for example, 566 kg CO2 eq for every 5,000 km air shipment our company doesn't need to make compared to a shipment from Asia. Think local! Think Luc Vincent products!

Luc Vincent's Commitment to Women in Need

Le Chaînon and Luc Vincent haircare are proud to announce the opening of the Luc mon coiffeur hair salon, whose mission is to offer free services to homeless and vulnerable women who visit the well-known Quebec establishment. Luc Vincent haircare, which collaborates on and initiated the project, will offer the services of Luc and his team to highlight the beauty of the women at Le Chaînon throughout the year, right in the heart of the Montreal facility.

"Self-esteem isn't simply a matter of a haircut or colour, but when a woman feels beautiful, there's an inexplicable sparkle in her eyes—it's a moment where each of them feels particularly important and valued," says Luc Vincent.

For her part, Marcèle Lamarche, Executive Director of Le Chaînon, speaks enthusiastically about the project: "In addition to safe housing and support services, women in need who come to Le Chaînon's door need to rebuild their self-esteem. A visit to Luc mon coiffeur will directly contribute to their well-being."
